Hey,
The last couple of weekends there were some fights on, the Floyd Mayweather Vs. Juan Manuel Marquez from Sept. 19th. Let's call that what it was it was a Payday for Floyd and he barely earned his Scratch in that fight JMM pushed the fight but wasn't fast enough or have enough "Dinamita" in his gloves to do any damage. So Floyd cruised to an easy decision then he got jammed up by Shane Mosley during his attempt at an interview with Max Kellerman that went terribly south.
Anyways though Floyd once again couldn't give anyone an answer as to whether or not he would like to fight Sugar Shane (as if we didn't already know the answer) and we never got an answer on whether he was interested in fighting the winner between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto I guess we will have to wait and see.....My problem with Boxing is this, Currently certain fighters are being protected by there Promoters here are some examples: Andre Berto (where is Luis Collazo's rematch??) Floyd Mayweather (when will he fight someone in there prime that is a natural Welterweight).....Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (how can you be the son of a legend and not fight the best in your weight class?? look at his record and tell me 1 name you know).....There is also Joe Calzaghe who is the Wales version of Floyd Mayweather never fought a Primed s Super Middleweight and didn't want to give B-Hop a rematch after Hopkins Beat down Pavlik and who is 45 years old......These Promoters protect there Fighters so that when a Big fight does come they can negotiate bigger purses for there Stable of Fighters.
I'm just ranting I know but I feel the only way to really prove yourself is to fight the best and beat them kinda like some guys Named Leonard,Duran,Hagler,Gatti,De La Hoya,Mosley and Cotto....just to name a few meantime you are cheating the "real" fans and pulling the wool over the eyes over the ones that buy into undefeated records and titles who don't know any better I guess...
