USC is #1

Today's Rose Bowl game was an absolute massacre. Congratulations to the USC Trojans for dominating Illinois and thus proving that the BCS is jacked up. USC deserves to prove themselves vs Ohio State or LSU or in my opinion, Oklahoma. What a joke the BCS is, putting Illinois in the Rose Bowl when a better game would have been Missouri or Oklahoma.Not to say that Illinois isn't a good team, because they really are but USC is just that much better and I feel they would have done that to anyone they played. USC had a few injuries in the beginning of the year but now that everyone is healthy they just dominate everyone. Yeah they lost to Stanford, but who didn't get upset this year? At least they went on a good winning streak to end the year rather than lose within their last two games of the regular season like Ohio St and LSU did. What a joke this BCS system really is, there is so much proof this season to implement a playoff system. In every sport, the champion should be the only team to win their last game, that's what makes a championship team. I am a USC fan and am not being biast at all because 633 yards of offense and 49 points in the Rose Bowl against the number 13 team in that nation just goes to show you how good USC really is. Watch out next year when they go and play Virginia and Ohio St to start the season, not this weak scheduling like the Nebraska Huskers playing Western Michigan, San Jose State, and New Mexico State to start their season. I'm not trying to bag on the Huskers, but am a little peeved at some of you who told me that the USC Trojans are "posers" and will never be champions like the Huskers were in the 90's. Get that talk out of my face, the Huskers were definitely one of the best teams ever back in the 90's and USC is one of the best ever now in the 2000's. Pelini is an awesome coach, but come and talk to me when you play Virginia Tech rather than beefing up your win column by playing weak teams in the beginning to help your chances at getting into a bowl game because you will havea better record by playing guaranteed wins in the beginning. Back to USC though, great job Trojans and it looks like were going to see at least 5 players go in the first round of the NFL draft, probably more than any other school will have. One more note, Hawaii is on right now and thats a joke as well, maybe if they would play some harder teams during the regular season you would stand a chance against an SEC team, bravo BCS voters and the system for putting that game together. Hawaii should be playing Kansas or even someone like Texas Tech, they can't hang with the PAC-10 or SEC anyday. So many teams like Cal would go undefeated in the WAC, and it also looks like Colt Brennan can't hang with real teams in College Football, good luck going first round, I say Brennan is lucky if he goes late in the first round of the NFL draft, probably in the 2nd or even as low as the third.
